These include Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Donald & Daisy Duck, Pluto, Tigger, Pooh Bear, Buzz Lightyear, Sleeping Beauty and many many more.
These Character autograph and photo opportunities are extremely popular with the younger children who are eager to see their favourite characters. Jessica was no exception and I lost count of the hours we spent queueing to meet the stars of Disney World.
Special autograph and photo albums can be purchased from shops and stalls throughout the parks.
Tip: Purchase an autograph book prior to, or as soon as you enter you first theme park, as you never know when you will get your first opportunity to meet someone famous.
We made this mistake, and although you can have you photo taken, you miss out on an autograph without the book.
The books are designed in a way that the photo goes on one side of the book and the autograph is signed on the opposite page.
Each character post has an official photographer. They will issue you with a Photo Pass card, which can be used at all of the Disney theme parks when you have your photo taken.
The bar code on the card is simply scanned prior to your photo and all of the photos taken can be downloaded from the internet once you return home from your holiday.
The only downside to this is the photos are quite expensive to download, as we found out when we returned home. Luckily we also took photos with our own camera and we didn't need to download any photos.
The staff at Disney World are quite happy for you to do this and will also offer to take a snap for you to include the whole party in the photo.
